The presentations and video recording of the Safety Meet Seminar which was part of the Donsö Shipping Meet 2023 and took plac from 28-30 August on the rich shipping history island Donsö of Sweden.
Besides the seminar on Wednesday 30 August, the attendees also had the opportunity to meet the LASH FIRE experts on Tuesday, 29 August during the demonstrations in the Safety Meet Arena. The LASH FIRE partners presented different innovative fire prevention solutions such as linear heat detection, drones with thermal cameras and portable water sprinkler (images below).
Thursday, 31 August 2023 also marked the official (administrative) end of LASH FIRE project but in the next months the partners will continue working hard on all the project reports and the soon-to-be-online deliverables which have the great potential to improve safety on board roro and save lives.
