2 days of LASH FIRE AFV manual firefighting training trials was completed during the last week at Sasemar Centro Jovellanos, Gijon, Spain!
On the first day, the crew worked with a gas vehicle leak scenario with cooling of tank and protection of another vehicle subject to the jet flame from safety release valve.
On the second day, 8 experienced crew members from all across the Stena Line Ropax fleet proved and trained how fires in an electric car can be controlled with reasonable methods and equipment.
